I learned that alcohol is an addictive substance. That NOBODY is safe from addiction. I learned that alcohol is poison. I learned about the WINE WITCH. I learned about PAWS (post-acute withdrawal syndrome). I learned that it’s not in my family genes (so no blaming my parents). I learned why I drink, when and why it started. But probably most importantly, I learned I am not alone.
